Sangola taluka shetakari shikshan prasarak mandal has started the “Dr. Ganpatrao Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya Sangola” at sangola, just to provide facility of Science and Arts education. For the students rural area especially to the girls, though it is coeducational college. For the empowerment of the women/girls in rural and drought prone area. With this intension management has struggled for that, and I say too some extent I and my colleague get successied in it.
Younger generation is the property of country and it should be multidimensional, should not remain away from main developmental stream, even though they are economically and socially from weaker section. Keeping this in mind we always give the preference to such a students at the time of admission.
Later on as per demand we have also started computer based courses to make them able to stand on their own feet. In future we plan to start some P.G. courses, so that girls students can complete their education here only.
